Fremont, CA (January 13, 2026) – A motorcyclist tragically died on January 12 following a collision with a pickup truck at the intersection of Cushing Pkwy and Northport Loop E, according to the Fremont Police Department.
Officers responded just after 3 p.m. and located the rider suffering from major injuries. The motorcyclist was quickly transported to a local hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries approximately an hour later. The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt in the crash.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the motorcyclist, and the cause of the collision remains under investigation. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has relevant information to come forward and assist with the ongoing case.
