Rollovers can happen when a vehicle trips on a curb, soft shoulder, or guardrail, or when a driver overcorrects at speed, causing the vehicle to tip and roll.

Which vehicles are most prone to rollovers?
Taller, narrower vehicles such as SUVs, pickup trucks, and vans have a higher center of gravity and are more likely to tip over in a sudden maneuver than low-profile cars.
