Frequently Asked Questions
How does speed affect crash severity? Higher speeds give drivers less time to react and increase the force involved in a collision, which usually leads to more serious injuries and vehicle damage.
Why is distracted driving so dangerous? Taking attention off the road, even briefly, cuts down reaction time and raises the chance of missing a hazard like a stopped car or a changing light.
What should I do immediately after a car accident? Check for injuries, move to a safe spot if possible, call 911, and exchange information with the other driver while waiting for responders.
