Hacienda Heights, CA (January 9, 2026) – At least one person sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Tuesday morning at the busy intersection of S Hacienda Blvd and Colima Rd, according to information from the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 7:31 a.m. and involved a gray Toyota RAV4 and a second unidentified vehicle. The force of the impact caused airbags to deploy, and one vehicle was left obstructing the intersection, prompting a swift response from emergency personnel.
One individual was reportedly unable to exit their vehicle due to the damage, requiring assistance from first responders. Medical teams transported at least one person to a local hospital for further treatment. The severity of the injuries has not been publicly confirmed at this time.
Authorities closed portions of the intersection while crews worked to clear the wreckage and assist those involved. CHP has not released the names of those involved, and no arrests or citations were reported at the scene.
