Hampton, VA (January 6, 2026) – A young woman sustained injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Hampton on the afternoon of January 5, prompting a priority emergency response from local rescue units.
The accident occurred near the intersection of Big Bethel Rd and Hampshire Center Pkwy at approximately 4:51 p.m. Emergency crews, including Ladder 11 and Medic 10, were dispatched to the scene and identified the vehicles involved as a black Volkswagen and a gold pickup truck.
The crash occurred on January 5 and left an 18-year-old female occupant with a reported head injury. Medics evaluated the teen at the scene; however, the full extent of her injuries has not yet been confirmed by officials.
Traffic was briefly impacted in the area while crews assisted the injured and assessed the scene for potential hazards. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
