Hampton, VA (January 8, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched on Tuesday afternoon to a multi-vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of Hampton Roads Center Pkwy and Neil Armstrong Pkwy in Hampton.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:25 p.m. on January 6. Medic 12 and Engine 10 were among the first units to arrive on scene, where several vehicles were involved, and at least one individual sustained injuries. A second medic unit was requested due to the number of people potentially needing medical evaluation.
Police officers were also dispatched to assist with traffic control as the crash caused significant congestion near the on-ramp and surrounding intersections. Emergency crews worked to assess the injured, clear damaged vehicles, and restore normal traffic flow in the area.
While the exact number of vehicles involved and the severity of injuries have not yet been confirmed, medics treated those at the scene and coordinated transport where necessary. Additional EMS resources were temporarily redirected from nearby medical calls to support response efforts.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities. No further details regarding the identities of those involved have been released at this time.
Our thoughts are with those injured in this incident, and we hope for a swift and full recovery for all affected.
