Hampton, VA (January 13, 2026) – Rescue crews were dispatched to a serious vehicle crash near North Mallory St and the cross streets of Darby Ave and Seaview Dr on Monday evening, where one person was trapped inside an overturned vehicle.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in District Four, after a vehicle struck a utility pole and landed on its side. Firefighters arrived to find the individual conscious but unable to exit the vehicle without assistance. Crews began extrication efforts while medics stood by to provide medical care once the person was freed.

Details regarding the cause of the crash or whether other vehicles were involved have not yet been released. Authorities remained on scene for an extended period to stabilize the situation and investigate the circumstances.
