Caledonia, WI (August 27, 2026) – A head-on crash with injuries was reported Wednesday, August 26, on Highway 31 near Five Mile Road in Caledonia.
Caledonia fire and police departments, along with emergency crews from Racine and Oak Creek, responded to the crash. One vehicle caught fire, and at least one person suffered a serious injury involving a compound fracture.
Two Flight for Life helicopters were initially placed on standby, and two helicopters were requested to land at a hospital. One helicopter was ultimately needed to land at the crash scene.
