Hacienda Heights, CA (August 21, 2026) – At least one person was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Wednesday, August 19, along eastbound State Route 60 near the Hacienda Boulevard off-ramp in Hacienda Heights.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident log, the crash involved a black Chevrolet sedan and a white Ford pickup truck. Initial reports indicated that a large truck struck the Ford pickup, which then collided with the Chevrolet.
Both vehicles were moved to the right shoulder following the crash, while the suspected vehicle continued eastbound on SR-60. The incident was initially classified as a hit-and-run collision without reported injuries before CHP upgraded it to a hit-and-run with injuries.
The suspected vehicle was described as a large truck, possibly a Chevrolet. Authorities were working to gather additional information about the vehicle and driver. The investigation remains ongoing.
