Sacramento, CA (June 26, 2026) – A pedestrian died on Thursday afternoon, June 25, after a hit-and-run crash on Folsom Boulevard in Sacramento. The accident was reported around 1:32 p.m. near 8901 Folsom Boulevard.
Initial California Highway Patrol information described the crash as a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision. Sacramento Fire Department personnel were at the site and requested assistance from law enforcement.
CHP logs later noted a fatality, and the coroner was contacted. The report also listed the incident as a hit-and-run with injuries. Still, detectives are reviewing the deadly wreck.
