Houston, TX (January 12, 2026) – One or more people were hurt Monday morning following a traffic accident reported in the 7200 block of Evans St, located in a residential area on Houston’s northeast side.

The crash occurred just after 8:20 a.m., prompting a response from Houston Fire Department units and police officers. Medics arrived to find at least one individual suffering from injuries as a result of the collision. Emergency care was provided on-site, and at least one victim was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.

Authorities have not confirmed how many vehicles were involved or what led to the crash. 

The Houston Police Department is actively investigating the cause of the accident.
