Motorcycle Crash Safety and Awareness
Motorcycle crashes at intersections can quickly become severe, especially when high speeds and turning vehicles are involved. Drivers are encouraged to carefully check for approaching motorcycles before entering or crossing roadways.
Riders should also maintain safe speeds and remain alert when approaching intersections, where sudden vehicle movements can reduce reaction time. Even experienced riders can face dangerous situations when traffic patterns change unexpectedly.
Emergency responders remind all motorists to remain attentive and avoid distractions while driving to help reduce the risk of serious roadway collisions. Authorities continue to investigate the Huntingdon crash.
