Indianapolis, IN (January 19, 2026) – A 37-year-old man sustained significant head injuries in a serious car accident on Saturday night, January 17, near Eskenazi Avenue in Indianapolis.
According to emergency medical personnel, the man was ejected headfirst through the windshield during the crash, resulting in two deep lacerations on the right side of his head, each approximately three to four inches in length. One of the wounds extended down to the bone. He was reported to be in an altered mental state upon assessment and presented with a Glasgow Coma Score of 11, indicating moderate trauma.
