San Martin, CA (August 11, 2026) – A collision involving multiple vehicles was reported around 8:44 p.m. near Foothill Ave and Maple Ave, close to Raquel Lane. A white SUV was seen with smoke coming from the vehicle, while another vehicle ended up in a ditch.
One person was thrown from a vehicle into a creek bed. The report initially indicated that the person’s condition was unknown. Emergency units later confirmed the crash involved minor injuries.
The collision caused all lanes to become blocked. A tree also obstructed a lane, while part of a vehicle’s cab separated from its bed and an engine block came to rest in the roadway. Tow trucks were requested to clear the damaged vehicles and debris.
The accident was later classified as a minor-injury crash. The circumstances surrounding the wreck remain under investigation as more information becomes available.
