The California Highway Patrol reported the collision involved a silver Toyota Corolla and a white Volkswagen Touareg. The vehicles blocked the intersection following the collision.
A person in the Toyota appeared impaired or disoriented after the collision, according to the CAD report. The driver reportedly traveled at high speeds before the vehicles collided.
