Malibu, CA (August 12, 2026) – A multi-vehicle crash Monday, August 10, on southbound U.S. 101 near Mureau Road in Malibu caused injuries and blocked multiple lanes.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident log, the crash involved a red sedan, a minivan and another vehicle. Three vehicles were reported in the center divider, while other vehicles were blocking the middle lanes. One vehicle was also reported on the right shoulder.
CHP and fire personnel responded to the scene, and the incident was later transferred to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. A tow truck was requested for a BMW 328 that was in the center divider.
