Corning, CA (August 2, 2026) – Injuries were reported following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Hoag Road and Mary Avenue on July 31.
According to police reports, the crash was reported shortly after 4:15 p.m. and involved a pickup truck and a Nissan Altima. Emergency units arrived to assist those involved while debris was cleared from the roadway. One passenger was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, and another person requested transportation after complaining of pain in the neck, back, and arms.
Tow trucks were requested for the damaged Nissan Altima, while the pickup truck’s owners canceled a tow request after getting the vehicle running and planned to drive it home. By approximately 4:54 p.m., the roadway had reopened to traffic.
