San Bernardino, CA (August 25, 2026) – A traffic crash on northbound Interstate 215 near the Mt Vernon Avenue on-ramp left at least one man injured early on Sunday morning, August 23. The incident was reported around 12:30 a.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident log, a white Chrysler 300 collided with another vehicle. The crash occurred on an off-ramp, and one vehicle landed on the on-ramp. A male party was reported bleeding after the crash. The incident also involved a dog, with witnesses reporting that the animal was inside one of the vehicles.
One vehicle was described as undriveable after the collision. The on-ramp was temporarily shut down while crews addressed approximately 40 feet of damaged guardrail.
