Arcata, CA (August 12, 2026) – A three-vehicle accident was reported around 9:56 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12, at Old Arcata Rd and Halvorsen Creek Rd, with minor to moderate injuries reported.
Debris was scattered across the roadway, and a white Dodge Ram pickup was reportedly partially blocking traffic. The caller who initially contacted emergency communications could not answer dispatch questions or provide complete information about the vehicles involved.
Emergency units were dispatched to the crash site, where those arriving first reported minor to moderate injuries. An open 911 line was also reported shortly after 10 a.m., although no one was speaking through the connected phone.
