Stark Twp., MN (July 1, 2026) – Two people were injured on Tuesday afternoon, June 30, after a crash at Highway 4 and County Road 22 in Brown County.
The collision happened around 1:46 p.m. in Stark Township. The Minnesota State Patrol said a Ford Transit van was traveling east on County Road 22 while a Jeep Wrangler was traveling north on Highway 4.
The two vehicles collided in the intersection. Both vehicles had airbag deployment, according to the report.
The Jeep driver, 45-year-old Erika Georgina Castro Serrato of Saint James, was taken to Sleepy Eye Medical Center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The van driver, 29-year-old Tanar Dean Creech of Belle Plaine, was also brought to Sleepy Eye Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The Brown County crash is still under investigation.
