Understanding Multi-Vehicle Crashes on Interstates
Collisions involving multiple vehicles on highways often occur due to sudden stops, limited visibility, or adverse weather conditions. The close proximity of vehicles can lead to chain-reaction crashes, increasing the potential for injuries and vehicle damage.
Emergency responders focus on securing the scene, treating injured parties, and clearing debris to restore traffic flow. Investigators review camera footage, vehicle positions, and witness statements to determine how the crash unfolded and identify contributing factors.
