How Engine Fires Can Occur in Vehicle Collisions
Collisions can sometimes trigger engine fires, especially when the impact damages fuel lines, batteries, or electrical components. Even small fires can create hazardous conditions for both occupants and first responders.
Emergency crews focus on quickly extinguishing flames and ensuring all passengers are safely removed. Road closures or traffic slowdowns are common while firefighters and police secure the scene.
Prompt responses to these situations help reduce the risk of further injury and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby vehicles or structures.
