Kearns, UT (January 26, 2026) – A serious early morning accident near 5800 South and 4000 West in Kearns left three individuals injured Sunday, with one person currently listed in critical condition, according to the Unified Police Department.
The crash occurred on January 25 shortly after 4:45 a.m. Emergency medical services responded quickly and transported all three occupants of the vehicle to a nearby hospital. Two were reported to be in fair condition, while the third suffered severe injuries and remains in critical condition.
Authorities confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the collision. However, a mailbox near the crash site sustained damage, indicating the car may have left the roadway before impact.
The Unified Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction team is actively investigating the incident. Officials have stated that alcohol is being considered as a possible contributing factor, though conclusions have not yet been released.
