Knoxville, TN (January 14, 2026) – Emergency crews responded Tuesday evening to a motor vehicle crash with injuries near a gas station on High School Ave, close to the intersection with Rudy St and Johnston St.

The call for assistance came in shortly after 6:00 p.m., prompting Engine 7 and additional responders to the scene. The crash occurred near a Shell gas station, and early radio communications indicated that at least one person sustained injuries requiring medical attention.

While the number of vehicles involved and the specific cause of the crash remain unconfirmed, officials worked to stabilize the scene and attend to those hurt. The roadway was temporarily affected while crews assisted with care and clean-up.
