What Happens in Rear-End Motorcycle Collisions?
Rear-end collisions involving motorcycles on roads like Interstate 40 near Knoxville, Tennessee, can be especially dangerous because riders have limited protection.
When a motorcycle strikes another vehicle from behind, the force of the impact can eject riders from the bike, often resulting in severe or fatal injuries.
Factors such as reduced visibility, sudden braking, or following too closely can contribute to these types of crashes, particularly at highway speeds where reaction time is limited.
