Kokomo, IN (January 11, 2026) – A vehicle accident with injuries occurred Friday evening at the intersection of South Washington Street and West Sycamore Street in Kokomo. The incident was reported around 7:46 p.m. on January 10 and prompted a response from local EMS and fire units.

According to dispatch communications, one person was injured in the crash and required transport to a nearby hospital. An ALS (Advanced Life Support) ambulance was requested to handle the medical emergency, and Ambulance 21 confirmed the transport of the patient. No additional injuries were reported.

Although some responding units were later advised to disregard the call as the scene was secured, the initial response ensured that the injured individual received timely medical attention.
