How E-Scooter Crashes Happen at Busy Intersections
E-scooter crashes frequently occur at intersections where vehicles, buses, and pedestrians converge. Traffic signals play a key role in managing these shared spaces, and violations can quickly lead to serious injuries.
Because e-scooters offer little physical protection, riders are especially vulnerable when struck by larger vehicles. Even low-speed impacts can result in broken bones or other significant harm.
In crashes involving scooters and buses, investigators often review signal timing, witness statements, and vehicle positions. These details help explain how the collision unfolded and why the rider was unable to avoid being struck.
