Hodgesville, AL (July 13, 2026) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision late on Saturday, July 11, at Third Avenue and Saunders Road. The wreck was reported at approximately 11:50 p.m. in an unincorporated part of Houston County surrounded by Dothan city limits.
Emergency units found one person trapped inside a vehicle with major damage. Responders freed the occupant, and two patients were taken to Southeast Health under trauma alerts.
A person in the second vehicle declined medical treatment at the scene. The accident remains under review as investigators work to establish what led to the serious outcome.
