Lebanon, CT (January 22, 2026) – A serious motor vehicle accident involving extrication was reported Thursday on Beaumont Hwy, leading to multiple injuries and the request for a medical helicopter.
The crash occurred near 803 Beaumont Hwy and resulted in three patients being reported at the scene. Emergency responders arrived to find at least one individual trapped inside a vehicle, requiring extrication efforts by fire and rescue crews. Due to the severity of injuries, Lifestar medical helicopter services were requested for one patient.
Emergency medical personnel provided on-site care to all three patients. Plans for the helicopter landing zone were adjusted during the response, with the LZ moved from the Lebanon Town Green to Windham Hospital to facilitate rapid transport.
The roadway was impacted as crews worked to assist the injured, secure the scene, and coordinate ground and air medical transport. Authorities have not released additional details regarding the cause of the crash or the conditions of the patients.
