Frequently Asked Questions
What typically causes crashes like this one? Two-vehicle collisions are often tied to factors such as speed, failure to yield, following too closely, or momentary driver distraction, though the specific cause here has not been released.
Why does speed make a crash more severe? Higher speed means more force at impact and less time to react, which raises the chance of a rollover or serious injury compared with a lower-speed collision.
What makes distracted driving dangerous? Even a few seconds looking away from the road can prevent a driver from braking or steering in time to avoid a crash, especially at an intersection or cutoff like this one.
