Long Beach, CA (January 31, 2026) – Emergency responders from Long Beach Fire and Rescue rushed to the scene of a vehicle collision Friday evening that resulted in injuries along the Pacific Coast Highway corridor.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:38 p.m. on January 30 at the intersection of Pacific Coast Hwy and Frigate Ave. Authorities reported that multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, which led to significant traffic delays in the area during the evening commute.
First responders, including paramedics and fire crews, worked to assist those suffering from injuries after the collision. At least one individual was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The number of people injured and the severity of their injuries have not yet been publicly confirmed.
Traffic lanes in the vicinity of the crash were temporarily blocked as emergency personnel secured the scene and initiated cleanup efforts. Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision and have not released any details about contributing factors or involved parties.
