Los Angeles, CA (February 1, 2026) – A bicyclist was injured Friday afternoon in a traffic collision on South Sepulveda Blvd, prompting an emergency Code 3 response from Los Angeles authorities.
The incident occurred around 2:00 PM on January 31 in the 9000 block of S Sepulveda Blvd, according to dispatch audio from LAPD’s West Division. Emergency responders, including ambulance crews and traffic units, were sent to the scene after receiving reports of a bicyclist struck in traffic.
First responders, including paramedics, worked to assist the injured cyclist at the scene. The extent of the bicyclist’s injuries has not yet been confirmed, but the urgency of the Code 3 call indicates that immediate medical attention was required.
The events leading up to the crash remain unclear at this time, and officials have not released any information about the vehicle involved or whether other parties were injured. West Traffic Division officers are currently handling the investigation.
