Los Angeles, CA (January 30, 2026) – A tragic accident involving a pedestrian resulted in a fatality Thursday night at the intersection of Bell Ave and Nadeau St in the unincorporated Florence-Firestone area of Los Angeles County.
The incident was reported around 10:03 p.m. and involved a collision between two vehicles, with one reportedly striking a pedestrian during or after the crash. Emergency crews, including Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel, responded to the scene and confirmed that one individual had sustained fatal injuries.
One other person was transported to St. Francis Medical Center for further treatment, though details about their condition have not been released. Authorities noted that all involved parties remained at the scene, and no vehicles were outstanding in connection with the incident.
CHP requested two tow trucks for evidence processing, and the area remained active as investigators worked to document the scene and determine the sequence of events that led to the fatal outcome.
