Los Angeles, CA (January 3, 2026) – Police and emergency medical teams responded to a hit-and-run traffic collision at the intersection of Van Nuys Blvd and Vanowen St in the Van Nuys neighborhood of Los Angeles. The crash occurred around 11:28 a.m. and left one man with visible injuries.
According to dispatch audio from the LAPD’s Valley Bureau, the injured man sustained lacerations to the head and neck as a result of the collision. Despite his injuries, he remained conscious and breathing when emergency responders arrived. An ambulance was requested on scene to provide urgent medical care and facilitate hospital transport.
