Los Angeles, CA (January 25, 2026) – A man was injured Saturday morning in a felony hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Venice Boulevard in Venice. The incident occurred around 8:44 a.m. on January 24, drawing a code three emergency response from West Traffic Division and local paramedics.
Responding crews located the victim, a male approximately 40 years old, conscious and breathing but suffering from a laceration to the face caused by the impact. Units provided immediate medical care at the scene while coordinating further treatment and transport. The suspect vehicle reportedly fled the area before authorities arrived, and officers are now working to identify and locate the driver involved.
The crash scene, near the Venice Oceanfront Walk, is a highly trafficked area popular with both residents and visitors. Additional details indicate that a secondary collision involving vehicles may also have occurred nearby, further complicating the scene.
Investigators are actively gathering evidence and reviewing area surveillance to determine the sequence of events. The hit-and-run remains under investigation, and no arrests have been announced at this time.
