Engine 4 was the first to make contact, confirming two patients at the location and requesting two Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances. Emergency medical teams responded swiftly, though one of the units was later canceled after further assessment.
The crash took place in the 90034 ZIP code of Los Angeles, a densely traveled area in the Mid-City region. While both individuals involved received medical attention on site, authorities have not yet released information about the severity of their injuries or the circumstances leading up to the crash. One patient was reported deceased at the scene, prompting a cancellation of one rescue unit.
