Louisville, KY (January 12, 2026) – A violent collision between an SUV and a semi-truck on Fern Valley Rd left one person critically injured early on January 11, prompting a large-scale emergency response and vehicle rescue operation.
The crash occurred near Burley Rd and was believed to involve a wrong-way driver, according to dispatch communications. Upon arrival, emergency crews found the SUV disabled in the roadway with significant damage. The driver was reported to be critically injured and trapped inside the vehicle, requiring extrication by fire personnel.
