Lubbock, TX (January 20, 2026) – Emergency personnel responded to a vehicle collision with reported injuries Monday evening at the intersection of 82nd St and Quaker Ave in Lubbock.
The crash occurred around 5:12 p.m. and involved an SUV and a passenger car, with dispatch audio later suggesting a pickup truck and a two-door sedan may have been involved. Lubbock Fire Department units, including Engine 12 and Quint 16, were dispatched to the scene and coordinated with medics to assist those hurt in the wreck.
Reports indicated that at least one individual was injured, though specific details about the extent or type of injuries have not been released at this time. One person was described in dispatch communication as being in or near shattered glass following the impact.
