Coalinga, CA (September 11, 2026) – Major injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Friday morning on SR-33 near I-5. The collision occurred about two to three miles from the freeway.
A white Honda sedan and a semi-truck were involved. The semi overturned, leaving its trailer and cab on their sides near mile marker 26.3. The Honda was also involved.
Emergency units requested a medical response for the Honda driver, while crews checked the semi driver. The roadway was closed between nearby intersections for an undetermined period. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation.

What Makes Semi-Truck Crashes More Dangerous?
