Malibu, CA (January 25, 2026) – Emergency crews responded Saturday evening to a traffic collision with reported injuries along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. The crash occurred at approximately 7:42 p.m. near the 8500 block of Pacific Coast Hwy, prompting an immediate response from Ventura County agencies.
Emergency responders from Malibu and Ventura County Fire were quick to arrive at the scene. First responders, including paramedics, assessed and treated individuals hurt in the crash, providing aid for a variety of injuries reported. Several victims required further medical evaluation and were transported to nearby facilities for additional care.
The incident involved at least two vehicles, according to initial reports, and unfolded on a winding stretch of PCH commonly known for its limited visibility and high-speed traffic. The crash temporarily disrupted traffic in both directions while crews worked to clear the roadway and investigate the cause.
Authorities have not released the names of those involved, and it is not yet known if any citations will result from the crash. The exact cause remains under investigation by local law enforcement.
