Junction City, KS (September 2, 2026) – A man was hurt after a rear-end collision on the north side of Junction City. The crash was reported on September 1 at about 5:53 a.m. on US-77 Hwy near Rucker Rd.
According to the initial report, Ousmane Camara of Junction City was driving a 2024 Volkswagen Taos northbound when traffic slowed him down. A 2016 Ford Mustang driven by Robert Mayer of Abilene then struck the Volkswagen from behind.
Camara complained of pain and was taken from the scene for further medical attention. Additional details about the wreck were not immediately available.
The cause of the crash remains under review as more information is gathered.
