Kennett, MO (August 7, 2026) – A 47-year-old man was seriously injured on Thursday afternoon, August 6, when his e-bike collided with an SUV at the intersection of Floyd Street and Compress Road in Kennett. It happened around 2:21 p.m.
The man failed to stop at a stop sign and rode into the path of a southbound Dodge Durango, according to a preliminary report. The Durango, a patrol vehicle, sustained only minor damage to its front bumper and hood.
The e-bike rider was flown to a hospital in Memphis for treatment. The driver of the Durango was not injured and remained at the scene. No further details about the wreck were released.
