Oklahoma City, OK (September 11, 2026) – A man succumbed to his injuries early on Wednesday morning, September 9, after being struck by a vehicle while running across Interstate 35 in Oklahoma City.
The crash happened shortly before 1:30 a.m. A driver entering northbound Interstate 35 from the SE 44th Street on-ramp struck the man while he was crossing the highway. The driver reportedly stopped and got out to check on the man before leaving the area. Authorities later located the driver, who is cooperating with the investigation.
A passenger was also inside the vehicle. The man’s identity has not been released. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation, and no information about potential arrests was immediately available.
