MARYSVILLE, Yuba County, Calif., Sept. 27, 2026 — A motorcyclist was injured on Friday afternoon, September 25, in a hit-and-run crash on northbound State Route 70 at N Beale Rd. The rider was reportedly bleeding and hurt after being struck by another vehicle that did not stop.
The California Highway Patrol said a vehicle collided with the motorcycle just north of the N Beale Rd interchange in Marysville around 4:32 p.m. The rider went down and reportedly got back up to move the motorcycle to the shoulder before being helped into the reporting party's vehicle.
The vehicle involved in the crash reportedly continued north across the E St bridge and did not stop, prompting the CHP to reclassify the case from a hit-and-run with no injuries to one with injuries. A second vehicle reportedly stopped at the scene to help the injured rider.
