McDonald, MO (January 14, 2026) – A woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision that took place Tuesday morning along US-71 at Route OO in the town of Jane, according to local authorities.
The accident was reported at around 8:50 a.m. in McDonald County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2024 Mazda CX-50 was traveling northbound when it failed to yield and was struck by a southbound 2022 Toyota RAV4. Both vehicles sustained total damage in the impact and were towed from the scene by separate recovery services.
Emergency medical services responded promptly and transported the 64-year-old driver of the Toyota, a woman from Seligman, MO, to Mercy Bella Vista for treatment of injuries. The driver of the Mazda, a 42-year-old woman from Bella Vista, AR, was reportedly uninjured and remained at the scene.
Troopers noted that both women were properly restrained at the time of the crash. The scene was cleared after investigators completed a preliminary assessment, and traffic resumed shortly thereafter.
