Memphis, TN (January 20, 2026) – An accident involving multiple vehicles and resulting in injuries was reported on Union Ave late Monday afternoon. The collision occurred around 5:26 p.m. near 2090 Union Ave, drawing a significant response from Memphis Fire and Rescue as well as other emergency personnel.
Medics and fire crews worked to assist those suffering from injuries after the collision. At least one individual required further medical attention and was transported from the scene, while others were treated on-site for a variety of injuries. The crash disrupted traffic along Union Ave during the height of the evening commute.
Authorities temporarily closed affected lanes to allow for emergency response and cleanup. The full extent of the injuries has not been released, but no fatalities have been confirmed at this time. Multiple vehicles sustained damage, and wreckage was cleared from the roadway over the course of several hours.
