Memphis, TN (January 21, 2026) – An accident involving two vehicles left two people critically injured Tuesday afternoon in the Fox Meadows neighborhood, according to the Memphis Police Department.
The crash occurred at the intersection of South Mendenhall Rd and Fox Plaza Dr at approximately 12:11 p.m. Responding officers and emergency medical teams arrived quickly to assess the scene and render aid. Two individuals were found with severe injuries and were immediately transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The vehicles involved sustained heavy damage and came to rest in the intersection, prompting temporary road closures and significant traffic disruptions throughout the area. Fire crews worked alongside police to secure the site and clear debris from the roadway.
