What Risks Are Linked to Electric Scooter Crashes at Night?
Electric scooters are small and can be difficult for drivers to see, especially after dark. Limited lighting and reduced visibility may increase the chance of a serious crash.
Scooter riders share the road with larger vehicles, which creates a size and weight imbalance. Even a single impact can cause severe injuries.
At night, reaction time becomes more limited for both drivers and riders. Street lighting, reflective clothing, and clear visibility can influence how quickly someone is noticed on the roadway.
