Metairie, LA (January 25, 2026) – An accident involving two vehicles caused injuries Saturday evening at the intersection of Bonneville Blvd and South I-10 Service Road East in Metairie, prompting a response from local fire and EMS units.
The crash was reported at approximately 7:18 p.m. on January 24 in zone 1516. Engine 158 responded to the scene, where a red SUV and a silver sedan were found pulled to the side of the eastbound I-10 Service Road following the collision.
Officials confirmed the presence of injuries, though the number of people hurt and the severity of those injuries have not yet been publicly disclosed. Emergency crews worked to assess those involved and ensure the safety of the crash site.
