Metamora, OH (March 3, 2026) – A 78-year-old woman lost her life Monday afternoon, March 2, after a crash involving a semi-truck on US 20 near County Road 7. The collision happened at about 3:53 p.m. in Fulton County.
According to released information, Charles Rose was driving east on US 20 in a Peterbilt semi. At the same time, a van traveling west crossed the center line and struck the semi.
The van’s driver, Linda Rufnacht, 78, was pronounced dead at the scene. Rose was not injured in the crash.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash, and more details will be released as soon as they become available.
